lyrics
I’d always like to say I’d believe you, even if you say you’re not there,
but something seems wrong with the air, and I can’t see when you seem so seamless,
I’m always on time I'll never deceive you, but there’s something strange,
it seems you’re stuck in that place, and when I get there I can’t see you,
I just tell myself that maybe it’s ‘cause you’re not normal,
I’ll climb a mountain for you and fall back into the water,
I’ll walk the same old pavements to greet, but there’s only ever flowers there,
what was it that you did to your hair, ‘cause you don’t seem familiar to me,
I feel I'm slipping under but i can’t remember, I think I've got something to take,
they said ‘it doesn’t have to be this way, even the hopeless can almost change’,
I just tell myself that maybe it’s ‘cause you’re not normal,
I’ll climb a mountain for you and fall back into the water.
This is absolutely beautiful! I am so happy the Under the Bridge releases led me down this road. It's unexpectedly spacious and just makes me happy! It's very hard to pick a favorite and I will not be skipping tracks as I play through this repeatedly. zq9mare1
The greatest to ever do it, do it again! Sometimes lush as a warm blanket, sometimes all the angles of a dance party, always suspended in and out of time _hopskipjump
Just find it so uplifting and really soundtracks my place in life at the moment. Strength of the songs was only magnified seeing them played live at Shiiine On Weekender in 2021. niggle66
